Anes Patch (Medical Device for Local Anesthesia)

Anes Patch is a medical device that uses microneedle technology to provide local surface anesthesia. Anes Patch places several hundred very small needles 250 to 300 µm in length up against the epithelial surface of the gingiva (drug-permeable barrier) to deliver anesthetic agents quicker than traditional methods. Anes Patch was created by CosMED Pharmaceutical to eliminate the stress that injections cause to children at the dentist.
